While frustrating at times, I had more fun that I did frustration. It is amongst the few games that I could see myself going back to in order to play a few rounds here and there. G-Factor (fun): 48/50 I had a blast playing this game. Often times I was left to defend myself with the basic starter gun, which often led me to restart the run entirely. The one critique that I have after 300+ runs is that for a game that is called enter the 'GUNGEON' it sure is hard to get a decent starting gun on the first level. There is barely an inventory system, and navigating the world is easy.

Design: 9/10 Not a ton of complaints design wise.

The gunplay is crisp, and each floor offers a fresh challenge. I went from a skeptic, to an addict in a matter of hours. While less in depth than hades, Gungeon makes up for it with weapon choices. Coming in from playing Hades, this game satisfied my needs and then some. Gameplay: 10/10 If there is one thing that this game excels at, it is the gameplay.

The sounds for the guns are what shines bright here, each with their own specific sound. It is not particularly special, but once again it out preforms the setting. Sound Music: 8/10 The sound and music in this game is engaging and fits the tone of each area that you are in. Areas do get repetitive however, more so that other dungeon crawlers that I have played. However, the environments in Gungeon get the job done. Everything that you are presented with is simple and one dimensional. Environments/Art: 6/10 This is not a game that relies on fancy environments or graphics. Overall the story is as deep as it needs to be, and surprises throughout.

Each character that you play has their own reason for being in the Gungeon, and if you play long enough you discover their reason for being there. For a 'Stardew Valley' graphical game, the story is surprisingly deep. 57h PlayedStory: 9/10 The story for Enter the Gungeon is relatively simple, however, that does not mean that it disappoints.
